Scheme Outline

Replacement of the existing level crossing with a bridge over the railway (approximately 100m further west), with the existing level crossing being closed to traffic (except for pedestrian access).

This is a venerable project, appearing in the 1954 Cambridge County Development Plan, and probably even earlier.
