Scheme Outline
Upgrade of all the remaining single-carriageway sections of A303 between the associated works at Stonehenge and the Horton Roundabout at Ilminster. The new dual carriageway sections will be grade-separated and built to dual two-lane standard. From Ilminster, the A358 will be upgraded to reach the M5.
This scheme is now back under review following the cancellation of the A303 Stonehenge Tunnel.
