Scheme Outline
Replacement of the existing signalised roundabout with a new grade-separated two level junction, providing a free flowing route between the Coventry Southern and Eastern bypasses, A45 and A46. The A45 will also be widened to three lanes to the west as far as Stivichall Junction.

| 18 June 2009 | Draft Orders and an Environmental Statement for the scheme were published on 26 March 2009, with public exhibitions held in April. |

| 30 October 2010 | Following the autumn spending review, the DfT has decided to continue preparatory work on this scheme, with a view to starting construction after 2015. |
| 1 December 2011 | This scheme forms part of the National Infrastructure Plan announced earlier this week. |
