Scheme Outline
Provision of a 2.5 km section of dual carriageway on the A75 between Newton Stewart and Stranraer. A new eastbound carriageway will be constructed, following the route of a disused railway line. The existing road will become the new westbound carriageway.
Progress
| 2 March 2010 | The contractor (RJ Macleod) has been selected, and work is expected to start in 'early 2010'. A temporary 40mph speed restriction order came into effect on 22 February 2010. |
