Online widening of a short stretch of single track road with passing places, situated in Moidart, in order to improve access and reduce journey times. The existing road will be upgraded to a 5.5m wide single carriageway between Kinacarra (Kinlochmoidart) and the top of Drynie Hill at Captain Robertson's Cairn.
In order to allow the works to proceed, the road will be closed to all except emergency vehicles on weekdays from 9 January 2012 until 4 April 2012. The work is scheduled to finish in June 2012.
