January 2006
The western fork junction is still under construction. However, the main interchange is now complete - a folded diamond with sliproads in the sout-west and north-east quadrants. This is open to traffic. Resurfacing work has yet to go ahead.
March 2006
The road is officially opened on 3 March 2006.
