Scheme Outline
Construction of a new dual-two lane bypass to carry the A41 around Aston Clinton. Works also include a grade-separated junction at the former terminus of the Tring Bypass and at a local road.

- Tring Bypass opens as A41(M), intended to become part of the M41 London to Birmingham route.

- The new government identifies the bypass in its Targeted Programme of Improvements (TPI) listing.
