Scheme Outline
Introduction of dynamic hard shoulder running (use of the hard shoulder as a fourth lane during busy periods) on a section of the M4 (J19-20) and M5 (J15-17) north of Bristol. The aim of the scheme is to increase the capacity of the existing road space, and thus reduce congestion.
