Major works finished in 2006 to grade-separate the last two flat roundabouts on the A500. This picture, taken while construction was still underway, is between the A52 and A5006 junctions. The road here was clearly laid out with a very wide central reservation for future use. Today this carriageway is a link between the junctions with a free-flowing A500 to the right.
The road is mostly urban and built to very high standards. This junction is typical.
