4 February 2012

Verge and shrub clearance has started, and highway engineering markers are in place.

2 April 2012

Final approval for the scheme was announced by the Secretary of State for Transport today.

10 May 2012

Alternative Route Signs erected and Roadwork Warning Signs erected stating "Work starts 8th May for 47 weeks".

28 May 2012

30 MPH speed limit in force throughout works. Approaches to roundabouts reduced from two to one lane. Traffic islands removed. Temporary street lighting erected.
