A737 Improvements at Beith

Scheme outline

Reconstruction of the southern half of the A737 Beith Bypass to replace the existing sub-standard road with a new bypass on an improved alignment. The new road will diverge from the existing at an enlarged Manrahead Roundabout to the south of the town and run to the east of the existing bypass, with a climbing lane northbound and a gentler gradient than at present.

A new roundabout with the B706 will be provided slightly south-east of the present staggered junction. The new bypass will then curve northwards to rejoin the existing road at the B777, where another new roundabout will be provided.
