A96 Inverness - Aberdeen

Scheme outline

Upgrade of the A96 between Inverness and Aberdeen to provide a continuous dual two-lane road for the whole of the route.

Despite its name, this scheme will actually provide a new dual carriageway from east of Nairn to Aberdeen, with the section from Inverness to Nairn being pursued as a separate scheme to be completed much earlier.
