Construction of a new single two-lane road to the north of Perth, linking the A9 to the A93 and A94 with a new crossing of the River Tay.

The road will connect to the A9 at a new grade-separated junction north of Inveralmond. To the east, it will cross the Tay and curve around the north of the city, with junctions at Stormontfield Road and the A93 before terminating at a signalised junction on the A94. To the west, it will loop around to Ruthvenfield to rejoin the A9 at another new junction. This western part will open up new land for development.
