Provision of a new junction 10A on the M20, and associated A2070 link road, to provide improved access to South Ashford.
The new junction will essentially form a single junction complex incorporating the existing junction 10, with two interlinked roundabout interchanges.
The new link road will be dualled and will meet the existing A2070 at a signalized T-junction.
|30 October 2010||Following the autumn spending review, the DfT has stated that it will seek to improve the design and sequence of work for this scheme.|
|20 May 2012||This scheme was missed out in a round of transport funding allocation and locals now fear it may not go ahead.|
|8 January 2016||A public consultation on the scheme will run from 14 January 2016 until 17 March 2016.|
