Provision of a new junction 10A on the M20, and associated A2070 link road, to provide improved access to South Ashford.

The new junction will essentially form a single junction complex incorporating the existing junction 10, with two interlinked roundabout interchanges.

The new link road will be dualled and will meet the existing A2070 at a signalized T-junction.

Progress

30 October 2010 Following the autumn spending review, the DfT has stated that it will seek to improve the design and sequence of work for this scheme.
20 May 2012 This scheme was missed out in a round of transport funding allocation and locals now fear it may not go ahead.
8 January 2016 A public consultation on the scheme will run from 14 January 2016 until 17 March 2016.
