A737 Improvements at Beith 28 August 2017

Reconstruction of the southern half of the A737 Beith Bypass to replace the existing sub-standard road with a new bypass on an improved alignment. The new road will diverge from the existing at an enlarged Manrahead Roundabout to the south of the town and run to the east of the existing bypass, with a climbing lane northbound and a gentler gradient than at present.

A737 Dalry Bypass 8 May 2017

The aims of the scheme are to improve journey times on the A737 between Glasgow and North Ayrshire, and to relieve congestion in the town of Dalry.

The proposed new single carriageway road will leave the existing A737 near Highfield, to the north-east of Dalry. The road will then pass to the east of the town, crossing the Glasgow to Ayr railway line and the River Garnock, before re-joining the existing A737 near Hillend Farm to the south.
