One of the very few fast roads in inner London, the East Cross Route is part of a C-shaped route that enters from the south-east and exits to the north east, passing close to the central area. This video covers the Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach Road, the East Cross Route and the A12 Relief Road from Hackney Wick to Redbridge. It also covers the entirety of the North Cross Route as built.
It's another video with in-car commentary, and additionally features a bad attempt at a cockney accent and some actual genuine magic. The camera seems to have been rigged at a slight angle - even though I stopped and checked on the way there and was sure it wasn't. Sorry about that.
